Best Western signed a deal with SideStep, a travel search engine,

PHOENIX -- Best Western signed a deal with http://www.sidestep.com, a travel search engine, to help drive more consumers to its Web site, www.bestwestern.com.
SideStep said that each month more than two million consumers use its product to find information on flights, hotels and car rentals.
'With SideStep, we drive travelers to our [Web site and] ... have the opportunity not only to close sales, but also to strike up an ongoing dialogue with prospective repeat customers,' said Ric Leutwyler, Best Western's senior vice president, brand quality and member service.
'Driving consumers to our partners' sites gives hoteliers a chance to connect with travelers, forging direct relationships between brands and buyers,' said Don Smith, SideStep's vice president, hotels.
In addition to Best Western, JetBlue, Continental Airlines, Orbitz and Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group are among the companies that also partner with SideStep. "
