About s-Travel: "s-Travel is a European project to test the use of biometrics, smart cards, and digital signature in the passenger check-in and boarding at airports. Passengers who have enrolled in the s-Travel programme operated by Alitalia in Milan and Athens will be automatically recognised at check-in and boarding, based on their biometrics, and will use adapted check-in and boarding processes."
