More Wales...fishing

travmedia.com: "Visitors to the Country Landowners Association Game Fair at Blenheim Palace on Saturday will be among the first to see the complete package of brochures - Fly Fishing Wales, Sea Fishing Wales and Fishing Wales - produced by the Wales Tourist Board and Environment Agency Wales.

The brochures, which are key elements in the Fishing Wales project supported by EU and Welsh Assembly funding, underpin promotional work to increase angling tourism which already contributes about 75m a year to the Welsh economy and could bring in some 98m by 2007.

The brochures also complement A guide to Fresh Water Angling in Wales which lists a selection of more than 500 Welsh fisheries and the facilities that they offer to anglers. The WTB has also set up a website for anglers at www.fishing.visitwales.com and a dedicated information line on 08701 211250, which have already proved to be a huge success with anglers"
