flight scanner free trial More no-frills to get on agents' desktops - 01-Jul-04.

More no-frills to get on agents' desktops - 01-Jul-04.: "FlightScanner has signed up seven more airlines, taking its total to 50.

The agency desktop tool searches the airline fares of full service and no-frills airlines. Its recent signings are mostly no-frills airlines that have recently launched or are due to take off this year in Europe.

They are: Evolavia (Italian carrier); Wizz Air (operates out of Poland and Hungary); Eujet (due to launch from Kent Manston later this year); Independence Air (offers US domestic flights); Norwegian (Scandinavian-based airline); Vueling Airlines (operates out of Paris and Brussels); and Skyways (Swedish airline).

FlightScanner, developed by Dolphin Dynamics, is now used by around 7,000 leisure and business travel agents. It is also used by travel companies to incorporate into their own applications including websites, via an XML link.

Dolphin president Roberto Da Re said: 'Reaching support for 50 airlines marks a significant milestone for FlightScanner, but we havent finished there.'

Agents can register for a free trial on www.flightscanner.biz."
