Minister announces funding for twelve projects under the Tourism Product Development Scheme: "Mr. John O'Donoghue, TD, Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, today (26th May, 2004) announced that funding of up to �13.5 million has been allocated to twelve projects under Failte Ireland's Tourism Product Development Scheme. Included is a grant for Clare County Council of up to a maximum of almost �10 million (50% of eligible expenditure) towards the major re-development of the visitor attractions at the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare."
