Sabre CEO Sam Gilliland said an improvement in Travelocity's bottom line was partly due to "dramatic progress from an expense perspective."
Specifically, Gilliland mentioned the outsourcing of a portion of Travelocity's customer service to call-center firm WNS -- which has operations in India -- and reduced fixed payments to portal partner, AOL. "
